Celebswap Is Back!

Hi Guys

OK, to cut a long story short, Celebswap was hacked this week, an admin account was compromised and our database (all 400+ meg of it) was deleted.

To Make matters worse, we were unable to recover our database from our most recent backups so we have had to revert to our last 'stable' Database which is approx six months old.

Although we have managed to save over 300, 000 posts and 30, 000 members we appreciate that a lot has appened in the last six months and many great posts and member details have been lost

If you have issues with your membership status, please post in this thread so that we can keep all issues in the same place.

If your subscription status has been effected please also post in this thread. (Please note all subscription enquiries will be verified against our records with Paypal).

We hope to have Celebswap, running back at 100% ASAP.

With this in mind we have 6 months worth of pictures to post, so please get posting.

We are extremely conscious of those members who have spent a lot of time posting massive sets in the last six months and to those of you who are effected we can only offer our apologies.

We can take account of varous factors when running a site like celebswap, creating a safe and welcome home for celebswappers is paramount.

Unfortunately there are people (if they can be refered to in such a way) in the world who get kicks from destroying communities like celebswap and to those people we have one thing to say. We will not be beaten!

Celebswap will become a better place as a result of this, It may take time, but we will get through so please get posting everyone, we have a lot of ground to make up!
