Gotta admit that Johnny's got it all. He's dated JLH, Jessica Simpson and now Minka Kelly. (and probably other equally hot babes that we don't know about)
Plus he's a great singer and song writer and he can play the guitar like a son-of-a-female dog. :P
Lucky man...

His music bores the crap out of me. I don't really see why people call him a great guitar player. Maybe he plays better on the songs that aren't on the radio because those are nothing special, imo.

IMHO, his guitar skills are more profound live, than on the album. If you go to youtube or something, find a live concert of him and, believe me, he's pretty good. I mean, in the context of greatest guitar players ever, you know, maybe not the greatest, but he's pretty good. His songs do sound better live than on CD. If you still don't like him, well, I won't sit here and tell you that you should like his music just because I do...you like what you like. But, it's blues music, ya know. Slower tempo and all that. It's not AFI or Fall Out Boy type of music, but I think it's pretty good.

I don't like much punk music, besides Relient K, or Green Day, or Social Distortion, but I don't like John Mayer. I like music that's in between the two. Sister Hazel and the Wallflowers are two of my favorites that come immediately to mind here. Nothing against you liking him, though.
