How do you think that your side will do this season in the Premiership.
I am a Newcastle fan & I am quite pleased with the signings that we have made and the players that we have sold. Bellamy and Robert were bad for team spirit so it was better for the club that they went.
I think that we will break back into the top 4 :banana

Newcastle will be lucky to get into Europe this season IMO.
Afraid that I don't support a Premier$hite club, but my team (Southend) are looking quite tasty, beating Millwall last night in a pre-season friendly 2-0 and outclassing them. If I were a betting man (which I am) £20 to get promotion at 20/1 on Bet365 is looking better by the minute.

What do you think to your manager - Martin Tilson isnt it?
Seems like he is an up and coming managers, who has done wonders on a shoestring budget at Southend.
Do you reckon he will go far in the game?

Close, That's probably what the BBC call him, they don't seem to like us very much, but it's Steve Tilson :)
He is a fantastic manager, who played for us for about 8/9 seasons, and has been our youth team manager for about 4 or 5 seasons. and inherited a team in the relegation zone and kept us up and the next season he took us to our first national final in 98 years of the clubs history, beating clubs like Luton (3-0), Colcehster (our rivals 4-3 over two legs) and QPR (who ran away with what is now known as Coca Cola League One) 4-0, only to lose 2-0 in the LDV Final to Blackpool, last season again took us to the LDV Final (beating Colchester again :thumbup on penalties) only to lose to Wrexham 2-0 in extra time, and we went to the play-off final and won after we were top of the league with four games to go but screwed it up.
He has signed local talent whenever possible and most of the team supported the team or lived / were taught in Southend as kids. He has un-earthed diamonds such as Freddy Eastwood, who signed from Grays about halfway through the season and scored his first goal for the club 6.7 seconds into the debut (a new world record I think) and scored a hat-trick that game and last went on to score 24 goals during the rest of the season. And last we siged Mitchell Cole from Gays under the noses of both Arsenal and Real Betis who were after him.
We have been on Sky 9 times in two seasons which is due to rise to 11 as we play Southampton in the League Cup and play Notts Forest in the league and been to the Millenium Stadium 3 times in 14 months. Apart from Chelsea, I'd doubt anyone else in the Football league has had a better couple of seasons than we have.
Sorry if I went on, I'm just really passionate and love the club.

i'm a spurs fan too but i don't think we have a chance of a champions league spot although i would love it. we need to bring in a few top class players before the season starts to stand a chance of a european place.
