Fhm...pornstars - Savannah Samson, Rachel Rotten.
(both in NSFW)
have been given subtitles to make the description better.

Problem is subtitles do not show up when you search for a topic title.
There are so many pictures on the board that searching for anything else but topic titles is almost impossible.

yea that does stink but IMO its better to do that than to have 5 seperate posts with 1 pic each..and I'm sure if someone dupes a pic that is more or less unsearchable they won't get banned :D

and im guessing its not easy/possible to make the subtitles searchable?

Got to say that's one crazy title Legion :lol: putting the celebs names within the body of the topic which was done in this case helps. :bigthumb

How is it almost impossible? You know you can choose which forums to search, right? Searching whole posts is fairly simple to understand, but I don't want to get in the middle of a personal argument; just wondered how close to impossible it really was, or what degree of impossiblity we're talking about.

EDIT: Okay, I'm a pillock, either it has changed or I was thinking of another board; apparently you can not search the subtitle. :pinch:

Searching sub titles at the momet isnt feasible, or possible ;)

Even though were on a superbe server, if it was possible to search the sub titles the strain on the server for each single search would be doubled... in peak periods that'd cripple us :o

Also, please remember our advanced search options:

Searching for

apple banana

Find posts that contain at least one of these words

Searching For

+apple +juice

Find posts with both words

Searching For

+apple -juice

Find posts with 'apple' but not 'juice'

Searching For

apple*

Find posts with 'apple' and/or 'applesauce'

Searching For

"Some Words"

Find posts with the phrase 'some words of wisdom', 'some words' but not 'some noise words'

This should give you all plenty of opportunity to drill down.

I am aware that the solution isn't perfect but we'll need to stick with it for the time being..

Than there is no need for a mod to improve a title by giving it a subtitle.

Not for the search engine's use no, as the celebrities names are in the actural post. It has mearly been added, i thease cases, for me and you to read. So as for us to decide wether, or not, we want to view it ;)

It makes sense, but is extra work for the mods and the benefit is limited. It can easily be avoided.
