Shinedown's "Leave a Whisper" is simply awesome to say the least. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes rock, and even some that don't http://celebswap.com/pics/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

"Effigy Of The Forgotten" by Suffocation.

Certainly the most brutal debut album I have ever heard (therefore the best).

I'd say Mudvayne's L.D. 50, Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, or Deftone's Adrenaline.
All amzing albums that are amazing from start to finish.

its 2 hard to pick just 1!

I agree with Dirk. I think that the Boston debut still holds several records for debut albums. I liked the Bat Out Of H*ll album as well.
